About me

Hi, I'm Ariandice. Some of you might know me by a different name, but I'm kind of on a fence whether to use my old name or to leave it behind me. It's not because I'm embarrassed by anything I did, it just feels like a wise thing to write under a new alias every now and then.

Who am I?

First of all, I'm an enthusiast of the world. I like where I am in my life, I have a good job, I have people that I consider my friends.

I want to travel to different places in the world. Being raised in Eastern Europe has left me yearning to see more. I've been to a few countries, including:

• Spain
• Great Britain

• Canada

When I write this, I'm preparing for my trip to Japan in a little over a month. I'm really excited, hopefully I'll write about it more if this website thing works out.

What else?

• Taking photos is also something I like to do, it blends well with my traveling. Motivating myself to leave my apartment to roam around the town with a camera is way harder than actually packing my camera to a place I've never seen.

  Oh, I shoot mostly film. I have more cameras than I'd like to admit, but my most precious one is Leica M6. I also shoot a digital Fujifilm X-T20 X-Pro3 camera whenever it's more convenient. I'm not a zealot.

• I play video games, very rarely I watch a TV series, read manga. There's a lot of things I've tried or do occasionally, so I won't write about them cause this will be a loooong list.

• I sing in a choir. I'm a bass, but actually my range is more of a baritone. It's a bit complicated, so let's leave it at that.
